Editorial policy
How we write and maintain the guides, glossary entries, calculators and market pages on InvestBud.
Sources
- We cite laws and regulations by section, from their wording on gesetze-im-internet.de or in state law.
- We quote official statistics, such as those of the Federal Statistical Office or the Deutsche Bundesbank, with their date.
- Market figures come from our own analysis of publicly listed properties. We label them as asking prices and rents and give their date.
- Worked examples state their assumptions. Our calculators' default values are listed in the methodology.
Checks
Every figure, tax rate and legal rule in an article should trace back to an official or public source: the law itself, the federal and state statistics offices, the Bundesbank, valuation boards or consumer advice centres. What we cannot support that way, we remove. We revise older articles to this standard; the last-updated date shows where each one stands.
Keeping content current
When a tax rate or a law changes, we update the affected calculators, glossary entries and articles. Market pages show the date of their data and are recalculated daily.
Corrections
If you find an error, write to us at [email protected]. We correct documented errors and update the article's date.
No advice
Our content explains and calculates. It does not replace tax, legal or investment advice.
Responsibility
Articles are published as the InvestBud editorial team. Responsible for the content under § 18 (2) MStV is Cengizhan Hakan.
